Project overview

What this project is about.

ClaimSafe is a blockchain-based Lost and Found Management System designed to help people recover lost belongings more securely. In colleges, offices, and public places, people often lose items such as mobile phones, wallets, bags, keys, and identity accessories. When someone finds an item, it can be difficult to identify the real owner. Sometimes, another person may falsely claim that the item belongs to them.

ClaimSafe addresses this problem by combining blockchain technology, cryptography, and a web-based management system. Before losing an item, a user can register it by entering general information and a few private details that only the real owner should know. The system converts these private details into a cryptographic fingerprint, which acts like a digital representation of the information. Instead of publishing the original secret details on the blockchain, the system records the fingerprint and registration time.

When someone finds an item, a designated custodian, such as a college lost-and-found staff member, can record the item's public details in the system. The owner can then submit a claim to recover the item. ClaimSafe checks whether the owner's registration was made before the item was found and whether the submitted information matches the registered proof. Smart contracts help enforce these rules and maintain records that can be independently verified.

The system also includes a dashboard for viewing campus lost-and-found statistics and an evaluation lab for examining security scenarios, cryptographic fingerprint resistance, blockchain transaction costs, and database tampering. These features help students understand how blockchain applications can be designed, tested, and evaluated.

ClaimSafe is suitable for students who want to learn about blockchain development, smart contracts, web application development, cryptography, and secure digital record management. The project uses a local blockchain test environment for demonstration and learning.

Who it is for

Usage and use case

  • Register belongings before they are lost by providing general information and private verification details.
  • Record found items through the designated lost-and-found custodian.
  • Submit ownership claims and verify them against earlier registrations.
  • Use smart contracts to enforce claim rules and record important events.
  • View campus statistics about logged and returned items.
  • Explore the evaluation lab to test security scenarios, fingerprint attacks, gas costs, and database integrity.
  • Learn how frontend applications, backend APIs, databases, and blockchain smart contracts work together.

Questions about this project

Ask us something else
How do I get a project?

Open the project you like and use the button on its page. If online payment is available you can pay and choose how you want to receive it. Otherwise send us a short enquiry and we will reply on WhatsApp or email.

Can a project be changed to fit my requirements?

Yes. Describe the changes you need when you enquire, and we confirm the scope and the price before any work starts.

Are add-ons available?

Many projects have optional add-ons such as documentation or presentation support. They are listed on the project page with their prices, and you can pick them when you buy or enquire.

How will I receive my order?

You choose email, WhatsApp or a Google Drive link. The delivery time is shown on the project page and in your confirmation email.

Is there a demo?

Projects with a demo video have a play button on their page. If you want to see something specific, ask us and we will tell you what we can show.

Can I get a refund?

Projects are digital, so payments are generally not refundable. If something went wrong, send a refund request with your order reference and we review it fairly. The Refund Policy explains the details.
